    Overview

     

    Title:                    Clinical Trials Support Center Coordinator (Part Time)

    Summary:           The Clinical Trial Support Center Coordinator will perform coordination tasks and diverse specialized project administration for the Center. 

    Reports to:         Clinical Trial Support Center Nurse Manager

    Supervises:         NA

     

    **This is a Part Time and a Remote Position working from home.

    Responsibilities

    Duties and Responsibilities: 

    • Provides administrative and clerical support to the department.
    • Participates in select on-going programs and/or special projects as assigned by the department.
    • Update and maintain clinical trial information in OneNote.
    • Coordinates the development of Center reports and presentations as needed.
    • Assists in the coordination and planning of Center meetings.
    • Supports the CTSC Director and Manager as necessary and manages scheduling of monthly calendar, vacation requests, teleconference/webcasts, staff meetings, and clinical trial updates.
    • Maintains department calendar and makes travel arrangements for staff as needed.
    • Supports CTSC Director and Manager with staff onboarding and training, including the preparation of training materials/equipment.
    • Represents CTSC during organizational meetings and committees as appropriate.
    • Develops proficiency with Salesforce database and contributes to efforts to efficiently and effectively collect data.
    • Acts as the CTSC contact person for the GLI system, used to order materials for patients. Create and set up GLI accounts for new CTSC staff.  Track GLI orders when requested by CTSC staff. 
    • Maintain excellent knowledge of the LLS mission and programs.
    • Coordinate internal resources across multiple parts of the department and the broader organization as needed for the flawless execution of projects.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Education & Experience Requirements: 

    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
    • 2-3 years’ relevant experience working in a healthcare delivery setting.
    • Understanding of health care delivery systems.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Applications: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and OneNote.

    Position Requirements:

    • Excellent word processing and database management skills
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proficient in business English, spelling, punctuation and grammar
    • Detail-oriented, flexible, and able to multi-task with good organizational skills
    • Knowledge of standard business machines and computer software
    • Professional with sound judgment
    • Able to work with others in a wide variety of disciplines, e.g., vendors, staff, patients, and volunteers.
    • Ability to work independently.
