As part of a mission centric, locally delivered and nationally powered organization this role serves for the individual that will be responsible for the development of a testing automation strategy,  that provides a framework that supports LLS application development by developing, executing, and maintaining automation scripts for the LLS applications.  Relentlessly pursuing cancer cures.

Additional Position Information

Creation of Automation Framework

  • Review requirements and functionalities to design and implement a framework that supports all LLS Applications (Salesforce, Web, Data management, and integrations)
  • Easily maintainable framework that can accommodate LLS applications and is scalable and extendable.


Develop, Execute and maintenance of Regression and Smoke Test Suites

  • Design and maintain automated regression suites converted from existing manual scripts and future projects and user stories.
  • Design and maintain high level smoke test scripts based on overall functionality of the application to be executed after all deployments.


Automation of Ongoing Sprint functionalities

  • Actively participate in ongoing sprints to convert user story acceptance criteria to Automation scripts and add them to existing regression test suites.
  • Provide support and maintenance of automation functionalities.
  • Enhancing existing scripts with related stories/functionalities.
  • Execution and management of tests.


Support Additional Automation testing needs

  • Attend related Scrum ceremonies.
  • Create related documentation for Strategy, framework, function libraries, Scripting standards, script templates etc.
  • Logging and tracking of bugs using the defect management process at LLS.


Education & Experience Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related field of study; or equivalent education, training & experience.
  • 4+ years’ experience with automation tools like Selenium and designing test scripts using Java
  • Experience in designing and launching automation frameworks from scratch.
  • Solid Understanding of Salesforce, web (Drupal preferred), and integration (Informatica and Mulesoft preferred) technologies
  • Experience working/automating functionalities in fast paced projects.
