As part of a mission centric, locally delivered and nationally powered organization this role serves as the relationship and activation manager for all national, territory and region retail partnerships; business development lead within the retail vertical to increase revenue. Serves as the liaison across operations, marketing and communications, legal and finance for all non-pharmaceutical efforts; primary workplace giving business development nationally.  Relentlessly pursuing cancer cures.

Mission Integration

  • Serve as retail business development leader to promote the understanding of the LLS mission throughout retail campaigns.
  • Work in partnership with Education Services and Health Research department to effectively communicate the LLS overall mission, programs, resources and priorities.

 Strategy and Vision

  • Ensure retail strategy is executed flawlessly with national corporate partners and product teams.
  • Execute annual strategic plan to maximize retail potential designed to enhance corporate giving including matching gifts and workplace giving.
  • Create communication plan to inform regions and products of national, regional and local retail and team activation to ensure success and proven return on investment for corporations.
  • Serves as the point of contact for all activation strategies for business development and partnerships team.

High Impact Fundraising and Stewardship

  • Partner with the business development team(s), and executive leaders to effectively secure corporate support through retail partnerships.   
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with national, territory, and region leaders, and others throughout the organization to ensure the successful integration and implementation of programs.
  • Develop and execute effective workplace giving and matching gifts activities in collaboration with product teams and existing and new partnerships.
  • Identify new opportunities for corporate partnerships through workplace giving and matching gift companies and deepen engagement with LLS.

Maintain a working knowledge of the LLS mission and programs to promote organizational initiatives.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Education & Experience Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 5 years corporate fundraising experience
  • Experience in consumer based fundraising and success in fundraising from corporate sector
  • Strong Office Suite and database management

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Limited travel approximately 10%
